2021 is a very special year for German-Turkish relations. 30^th October marks the 60^th anniversary of the so-called German-Turkish recruitment agreement. Without the workforce, who came to Germany under this agreement, the economic miracle in Germany would not have been feasible. With this webinar, we aim to acknowledge the valuable contributions of the Turkish initially ‘guest workers’, later often ‘entrepreneurs’ to the German economy from a business and industry perspective. Moreover, we would like to provide them yet another platform to share their personal accounts and experiences in German labor market to reflect upon diversity and inclusion and draw parallels with the current situation.
